For nearly two decades, I've dedicated my career to helping students succeed in a variety of educational settings. I've served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, university professor, and one-on-one learning specialist, and I've had the privilege of working with students of all ages and learning profiles. I founded NeuroBridge because I believe there is no such thing as a "one-size-fits-all" education. Every child learns differently, and when instruction is personalized to meet their unique needs, incredible growth is possible. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to build the confidence, organization, and independence they need to become lifelong learners.
Core Values
According to the 2016 World Economic Forum Report, an estimated 65% of children entering school today will ultimately spend their adult lives working in a career that does not currently exist today (WEF, 2016). While this may sound surprising, this has been the trend for generations. So how do we continue to prepare our children for lives and careers that are filled with technological advances and political landscapes that we can't yet imagine? At NeuroBridge, each of our lessons infuse 21st Century Skills that foster independent thinking and responsibility alongside the learning process. Our Executive Function Coaching relies heavily on strengthening the cognitive functions related to these skills so that children can succeed academically and in real-world situations. We believe that teaching the child HOW to learn is just as important as teaching the child WHAT to learn.
Committed to Diversity & Inclusion
At NeuroBridge, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive online educational community. We celebrate and respect the unique backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of all students, families, and educators. By promoting inclusivity, we aim to create a supportive learning environment where every individual can thrive and achieve their academic goals.
